Hello! My name is Julien Van Wambeke-Long, I live in the Portland Oregon area and have been working in the Robotics, Safety, and Embedded industry for 10+ years.
I grew up in San Diego and began my engineering path with Lego Mindstorm and eventually found my way into the FIRST robotics program at my High School. From there I moved to Worcester MA to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). There I graduated with a BS in Robotics Engineering with a Minor in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
After college I stayed in the Boston area to cut my teeth in the Automation industry there. During the 2019 Pandemic, my Wife and I decided to uproot and try out something new. So we packed up the car with our plants and our cat and moved to the West Coast!
